Eat Street: The Three Men and a Little Lady of Cookbooks

Photo: Clayton Hauck

I can’t stress enough how dumb it was that Jesse and I got to put together one cookbook. The fact that we then got to write a second book (twice as long and packed with all of our favorite stuff) along with the talented and tireless John Scholl is ludicrous. We bit off such a large chunk of work that I started having nightmares about this book and spend the first half of the photo shoot as a walking ball of anxiety. I’d totally do it all again, and probably add a bunch more work.

As you’d figure, about half as many people read it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But we did get a review from Publisher’s Weekly that manages to be complimentary AND backhanded and that was pretty damn cool.

I don’t know where to add this sentiment, but I have a love for tostones that borders on the feral.
