How I Got My Degree From Hot Dog University

Way back in 2014, for whatever reason, I cold-emailed Vienna Beef to see if they would let me go to Hot Dog University as a journalist. The esteemed HDU is the in-house training program at Vienna Beef for aspiring hot dog cart/stand owners, run by a guy named Mark Reitman.

The story was a lot of fun, and the Hot Dog University degree remains handsomely framed in my home to this day.
